About the LSCC
Livable Snohomish County Coalition is a networking opportunity for anyone living in Snohomish County. In May of 2007, Pilchuck Audubon Society sponsored the First Livable Snohomish County Summit, bringing together over 200 folks for a day-long event, sharing information on land use and environmental issues that are impacting the quality of life of Snohomish County residents.
From that summit, the LSCC began. This website, sponsored financially with TogetherGreen funding from Toyota and National Audubon, along with its LSCC membership and coalition partners, will be the clearinghouse for sharing information that will help folks understand government processes to do with land use, notices of meetings, public hearings, appeals, and associated information to do with neighborhood groups efforts to affect land use planning and development in their communities.
If you would like to be a member of LSCC, it’s EASY!!! This is not a formal organization, so there are no dues or membership forms. Just email Kristin Kelly at Kristin@futurewise.org, and you will be added as a member. If you have information you would like posted on the website, also email Kristin and she will put it up if it is appropriate.
Please peruse the site today and often, as information will be posted weekly, if not daily.
Thanks for stopping by and learning how to be involved with the Livable Snohomish County Coalition.
